About Nigel Cumberland
Nigel is the co-Founder of The Silk Road Partnership and is a corporate mentor, executive coach and facilitator who works with leaders and their teams across a range of global organisations, multinationals and governments.
He has previously held expatriate leadership positions with various multinationals, including with the world’s largest staffing group, Adecco, as well as with Dalgety plc and Coats plc. He also became an entrepreneur by setting up his own recruitment company in Hong Kong and China, known as St. George's, which was sold to the UK’s largest recruitment group, Hays plc, in 2006.
He is a Freeman of the City of London, is a Master accredited Coach and Mentor, and also a Supervisor, with the European Mentoring & Coaching Council ("EMCC"), is a Fellow of the UK's Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, and holds BA (Hons) and MA (Cantab.) Degrees in Economics from Cambridge University in the UK.
